We want your experience of this online shop to be as easy as possible, simply look through the different categories to find the items you want, or use the search facility, and click ' Add to Basket'.
Whilst all prices in advertising and printed lists are correct at the time of printing it is inevitable that some prices may have changed subsequently and therefore only the prices on this website can be considered accurate. The website is configured to only allow purchasing of items that are in stock and stock levels are shown for each item.
When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you confirmation of despatch. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason.
In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
We aim to despatch items on the working day following receipt of your order. Any delays due to holidays or attendance at shows will be shown on the front page of the website. Orders received during these periods will be processed in order on our return. Any exceptional delays due to unforeseen circumstances will be notified to you directly.
We use Royal Mail & Parcelforce for shipping our goods and the prices and delivery options are shown at the checkout. Proof of Posting is obtained for all items.
Postage and Packing.
is a complex subject to deal with given all the various delivery
options, destinations and weights of packages. We have tried to cover
most options at the checkout by banding prices by value of order. The
checkout will give you the options and prices based on the value of your
order. However it can't cope with every option, for instance if you
order something thin ie. Timetable Boards, the postage would be cheaper
than the options provided, in this event we will refund the difference
to your card.
overseas postage we have included simple price per order options, again
should the amount be significantly lower we will refund the difference.
Similarly if the postage is significantly more we reserve the right to
request the difference. We hope you understand this position. If a more
simple option becomes available we will instigate it.
We will normally send your order to you within two business days and an email is sent to confirm despatch.
You must inform us within two working days for 1st class or four working days for 2nd class if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can take a prompt action to correct the problem.
Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our carriers is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
Please check your package for any signs of damage before signing for it ( if required ).It is your responsibility to contact us regarding any shortages or packing errors within 7 days of receipt of goods.
You must check all items are exactly as ordered upon receipt.
Guarantee and Returns Policy.
We want you to happy with your purchases. Faulty or damaged goods can be returned for refund or replacement.
You may return unwanted goods for credit within seven working days of receipt for full credit to your original payment method.
Credit will only be given if the goods are returned to us in a saleable condition with all packaging, parts and instructions.
We reserve the right to adjust the refund value of any returned goods (including packaging) not in as new condition.
Please call on 01654 712686 ( Tues 3.00pm – 6.00pm & Weds – Sat 10.00am – 5.00pm )and quote your name and postcode prior to sending your return, alternatively please email using the contact facility on this website.
Place a note with the goods stating your name and address, including the postcode, and reason for return.
Repack the goods securely and address to:- Trenarren Models, 2 Brynglas Walk, Tywyn, Gwynedd. LL36 0BB.
We will only refund ordinary 1st class postage costs for defective items returned, please obtain a free certificate of posting for your records as we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of goods to our address without it.
On receipt of the goods we will credit the original payment method with the value of the returned goods. If you require faulty goods to be replaced rather than refunded please make this clear.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Our products are only suitable for purchase by adults over the age of 18 years.
Trenarren Models do not disclose customers information to third parties other than what is required for payments to be collected or parcels to be carried. Sometimes, in these cases, the third party may need to disclose your details to another third party working as a subcontractor to them.
Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfil customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Issue a unique identifier (e.g. customer login)
d. Monitor customer account status beyond that required for individual purchases
e. Disclosed to third-parties for goods delivery purposes.We do not use customers details for general direct marketing initiatives of any kind, either by telephone,postal mail or email (unless you subscribe to our newsletter function)
